The grass is always greener...

There are moments where you just wish you had a camera on you.
One of those moments happened today. Imagine this: a very happy and bouncy Zvea, a giant stick, and a dogpark where the snow first melted and then froze leaving the entire park an ice rink. I throw the stick and Zvea bounces off! Soon realizing that it is difficult to stop, she decides to stand still and chew instead. This, however, proves to be difficult as well. She tries to find less slippery ground, finally retreating to the hill in one corner of the park. There, she tries to pin the stick down and balance it with one paw while chewing. Sadly she soon finds herself longingly watching the stick as it slides down the hill! Trying to catch it, she slides after! A couple of times she goes back up the hill to try again, but the stick keeps sliding down (I am laughing hysterically at this point). Finally she gives up, carries the stick to the gate and looks at me with big eyes.

She is done with the ice.

The grass is literally greener on the other side.

Smart as she is, she knows that chewing would be a lot easier there.

Good dog, Zvea.
Good dog.

This picture is from another day, when there was snow in the park instead of ice.
